1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the IKP magnetic component selection website, its contact and RFQ functions, specification-upload workflow and related sales follow-up. Hefei IKP Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (“IKP”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information described here unless another notice or signed agreement says otherwise.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated when you use the site, and limited information received from business partners or public business sources.
- Contact and business information, such as name, work email, telephone number, company, country, role and preferred language.
- Project and RFQ information, including application, target specifications, annual volume, part numbers, drawings, BOMs, datasheets, messages and requested response.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser/device information, referring page, landing page, timestamps, consent preference, UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers when enabled.
- Sales records, including qualification status, quotation or sample progress, communications, owner, outcome and related commercial value.
3. Why we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website; parse a submitted specification; answer an enquiry; evaluate product or custom-design feasibility; provide samples or quotations; maintain customer and suppression records; improve our content and selection workflow; measure campaign performance; and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the location and activity, we rely on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in serving business customers and improving our services, consent for optional analytics or advertising, and compliance with law. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on the individual and offer appropriate choices.
Cookie-banner advertising consent and the RFQ form’s optional technical-update checkbox are separate choices. Advertising consent controls tracking and click identifiers; the form checkbox controls only permission for occasional email updates and can be withdrawn independently.
6. International transfers
IKP is based in China and serves business customers in multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where it was collected. Where required, we use contractual, organizational or other lawful safeguards for cross-border transfers and provide additional information on request.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. The standard schedule is up to 30 days for original uploaded files, up to 90 days for text extracted from those files, up to 14 months for consented first-party analytics events, and up to 24 months after the last interaction for CRM and customer-relationship records. A shorter period applies where required; a longer period may apply for an active contract, legal obligation, dispute, security record or a documented customer request. Suppression records may be retained to ensure that an opt-out continues to be honored.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an explanation of our processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a privacy regulator. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. We may verify identity and authority before completing a request. Use the data-deletion page or email us with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
9. Security and children
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No online transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure. The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child.
10. Updates and contact
