2. Essential technologies
Essential technologies support the site, protect forms and APIs, remember a selected language, maintain security or session state and record a consent choice. They are used because the requested service cannot operate reliably without them and are not used to build an advertising profile.
- Language preference: remembers the English or Chinese interface selection for up to 12 months.
- Consent preference: remembers the visitor’s optional-cookie choice so the banner is not repeatedly shown.
- Security and session data: supports rate limiting, abuse prevention and restricted administrative functions where applicable.
3. Analytics technologies
With permission where required, analytics tools may measure visits, page and product views, selection-tool progress, uploads, match results and enquiry completion. The purpose is to understand which content and acquisition channels are useful. Form fields such as name, email, telephone number and free-text requirements must not be sent to analytics providers.
4. Advertising technologies
With permission where required, Google, LinkedIn, Meta or other approved advertising services may store or receive campaign and conversion information, including a platform click identifier. These tools support campaign measurement and permitted remarketing. Optional advertising technologies are not required to submit an RFQ or use core site functions.
5. Managing your choices
Use the site’s cookie notice to accept or reject optional categories. If no notice is shown and you have not previously consented, optional advertising technologies are not intended to be active for that visit. Browser controls can also delete or block storage, but blocking essential storage may prevent language, security or form functions from working as expected. You may withdraw consent at any time; the change applies to future processing.
6. Provider and duration details
The precise providers and storage durations depend on the tools enabled for a campaign and the visitor’s choice. IKP reviews the deployed tag configuration and provider documentation before activation. You may request the current provider list and retention details by emailing sales@ikp-elec.com with “Cookie Information” in the subject line.
